Notes-SMTP relaying and return addresses

Hi allI’m managing two servers and I wish they work in

the following way.

First Server:

Serv1 Dom1 (V6.0) must receive Internet (SMTP) e-mail and forward via notes to Serv2 Dom2.

Second Server

Serv2 Dom2 (V5.05)dom2.com must Receive Internet e-mail via notes through a Serv1 Dom1 connection but it must send internet e-mail directly to Internet

Nothing strange so far and I’ve done it BUT the problems arise with return addressess

If user@externaldom.com sends e-mail to user@dom2.com the message received has a return address like user@externaldom.com@Dom1

It correctly shows the answering path but I don’t want the answer to route through Dom1, I wish the answer to be sent directly to user@externaldom.com.

Any suggestions ?
