I’ve had two Blackberry smartphones, the 8830 and now a Tour. I use Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0.0.8 to sync my smartphone with my Notes email, calendar & contacts. I don’t use a BES; I have my Notes mail database downloading my internet email.
The problem is no matter what settings I use in Notes or in the Blackberry Desktop calendar entries 90 days or older are removed from my calendar. On my Tour (also on my old 8830) I have entries set to be kept Forever but they are still removed.
'Anybody have any idea of how I can stop this from happening?
Thanks very much in advance!

Subject: Questions…
Can you tell us what you have specified for the following options in your Desktop Manager?
I’m thinking you would want one way sync for this one since you are not using BES?
What options do you have set for the following?

Thanks very much for the response. Since I often enter calendar entries from the Blackberry I do two-way sync. On the Blackberry I have my calendar set to keep calendar entries Forever so unless there’s a bug with the handheld that should be OK.
I have transfer all scheduled items selected - I assume this keeps all calendar entries on the handheld and in Notes but again, all the unique entries in my calendar that are around 90days old are removed from both the Notes calendar and the handheld. Right now the oldest non-repeating entries in my calendar are from February 23rd.
I don’t do any replication of this database - the only thing happening is the Blackberry Desktop sync.
Thanks again!
