Hi all…
I have Notes set to MIME format as a work-around for another issue, but now replying to emails sent from web-based clients like Hotmail and Gmail and even Outlook is annoying.
When I hit send, Notes gives me the error that it can’t send because of a “horizontal rule”. When I check the email, it’s basically a horizontal line thrown in to separate my email body from the sender’s email body. I can easily delete that line and then the email sends fine, but it’s annoying to hit send and then get reminded that the horizontal rule is still there.
If I use Notes Rich Text Format, then Notes seems to send the email fine.
So is there another work-around where I can keep MIME format but still send an email with the horizontal rule or have it removed automatically?
Also, what’s the difference between MIME and Notes Rich Text? I would think that if MIME is an internet mail format, shouldn’t be fine with the horizontal rule there?
TIA!
