Notes Link disappears in one user's email

I have a native Notes application that builds an email and sends it to a sendto list (nothing special). Of 3 users the email is sent to, one never gets the embedded Notes Link, instead he gets the following “(Document link: Job Information)”. “Job Information” is what the link points to but it’s not part of the message and does not show for the 2 users the link is working correctly for.

I’m pretty sure this is not a programming bug but instead I think it’s a setting somewhere BUT I can’t figure out where.

The 2 users that were experiencing the missing links were set up in their Person document as “prefer MIME” instead of “keep in sendor’s format” in the incoming email field
