We have a very strange situation occuring to a small group of users. Their Notes.ini file should state:
Directory=h:\notes\data6
(H being our network drive)
But for a few users this keeps changing to:
Directory=D:\APPS\Lotus\notes\Data
Which is were Notes is installed on the citrix server?
And of course Notes will not open as no files (names etc.) exist in this location!
The only thing different to these users is that they connect via Citrix - It doesn’t happen all the time but when it does they can’t log in.
We are baffled so all help much appreciated.

Check the properties of the short cut…
it should be like this
“C:\Program Files\lotus\notes\notes.exe” =h:\notes\data6\notes.ini
The first part may be different in relation to the Ctirix path.

any chance there is a hardcoded path to their bookmark.nsf or headline.nsf in the users’s location document (tab advanced\basics) ?Just a guess…

Thanks guys, both of these are OK.
It must be something Citrix related as I have never seen it happen to any of our other 700 users who dont use notes over citrix.
We wonder if its the:
ConfigFile=h:\notes\data6\setup.txt
Not that this has much info in it (certainly nothing to point to D:\apps etc) but might move just in case
