Dear Friends,Please help. I’m new in lotus 8.
I have several notes 4 applications.
After upgrading the server to domino 8. All my new registered user (id create with ver 8) can not access these applications.
These users using notes client 4, 6, and 8.
An error message occured (“invalid or nonexistent document”),
while all old users(id create with ver 4,5,6,7) have no problem accessing it.
What could be the problem ? Thanks in advance
Subject: Reader names fields?
if the hierarchical (complete name including O and OU (Company)) name of R8 is not identical to the R4 one, and there is reader and/or autor fields, things are going to brake.
there is other causes, but less likely.
AdminP (or Adminproxy, see Help in Administrator Client) is your friend, but I would guess you are out of luck if you are not upgrading at least to 6.5x first.
I would suggest you look for someone with expertice in the area.
