Notes client on Linux won't start

I have the Linux client installed with the IBM Workplace thing. I followed all the instructions as IBM provided. When I double-click the icon on the desktop, the IBM Workplace Management client starts, but the Notes wizard does not start.

I’ve tried running the NotesLauncher from my ~/bin directory and checked the logs it creates, there are no error messages.

I’m running FC5 with Mozilla 1.7.13, KDE desktop (Gnome libs installed also). Doing an ps aux | grep notes produces a whole spew of stuff.

If anyone can provide some insight as to why Notes isn’t starting, I’d appreciate it. From what I can tell, my ~/notes directory looks complete.

Phil.

Hi,

The problem with the missing wizard has been posted many times here. Try to verify the old threads for workarounds.

I guess if I’d found them, I would of tried them. But I can’t find any.
