I am tearing my hair out! Notes client (r8) is working perfectly with embedded Sametime. But Sametime Connect client on the same machine does not see the server - login fails all the time with “Sametime server not found”. What on earth could be wrong? I can log into the Sametime server from a browser on this machine, so the connection is OK. Any help will be appreciated.

Check the location document, is the sametime server configured properlycheck the person document is the sametime server configured properly
check is the sametime server is reachable from your mail server
check your sametime server is resolvable(DNS name) from your machine and your mail server

Was this issue resolved? I am having the same problem. The new integrated 85 client works with my sameteime 8.0.2 sametime svr. It resolves dns, can ping both by ip address and dns name, person and location docs include sametime server. Can open the sametime server from the Workspace page yet anyone still using 7.5.1 sametime client can not connect.
