I was wondering if anyone else has noticed a slowdown between clicking on the Open Inbox button when new mail arrives since IE7 came out?
We have some users saying that it takes a great deal of time after clicking on the Open Inbox prompt before their notes Inbox opens (between 5 and 10 seconds). They say that they first noticed this slowdown after their Internet Explorer browser was updated from version 6 to version 7.
After a little research here at our company I have witnessed the following (All of our users are using the Notes 6.5.4 client):
PCs running XP-Pro with 1 GB memory running IE6 - No noticeable slowdown
PCs running XP-Pro with 2 GB memory running IE7 - No noticeable slowdown
PCs running XP-Pro with 1 GB memory (or less) running IE7 - Noticeable Slowdown
