Hi,
I’ve recently created a signature on Notes which is frustratingly indented for no apparent reason. This signature is inside of a html table as Notes doesn’t seem to support the formatting I originally had on divs, hence why I used tables to counter this.
If I use the signature as a HTML file, it is only slightly indented, which I can live with. However, if I import the HTML inside of the edit box (big white box in the signature window with a T icon where you can select to import HTML) it is indented by quite a lot on the left hand side. After doing some research around this, it seems that my table may be put inside of an ‘imaginary table’ when it is imported. Is there any way to counter this?
If the suggestion is to just use the HTML email signature then unfortunately, this is not a possible option for me. As I don’t have control of the Notes mail server, some settings are imposed by the administrators of such a server. Some days, I can use my HTML signature. On other days, I can only select the ‘RTF signature’, which is my HTML imported via that edit box. Therefore, I have no control over when the signature is hugely indented or not, so I really need a fix for the ‘imaginary table’ issue.
Help please! Thank you in advance.
