Notes 9 and Windows 11 and Java

Client (Notes, Nomad Web, Nomad Mobile, Android/iOS, browser version): Notes

Problem/Query:
I installed Notes/Administrator/Designer 9.0.1 FP10 on a Windows 11 workstation (don’t ask why). Notes runs in Basic Mode and Administrator runs. But Notes Standard Mode and Designer won’t start. I guess there’s a Java issue between Notes 9 and Windows 11 and I’m wondering if anyone knows a fix for it, like a notes.ini variable or something. Any ideas?

Hi Rob, could you share the error you’re seeing when starting the client? Are you able to reproduce the issue in Safe Mode with Networking? If not, please try isolating further by whitelisting the Notes processes in your antivirus scan.
