Hi Martin,
I think the error in our case is due to the fact that we redirect LocalAppData on our workstations using a local group policy, resulting in the Notes Data directory not being located in C:\documents&settings…
Waiting for IBM to get back to me.
If I hear anything I’ll post here.

I have the same problem.
This install kit from IBM Fix Central solved the installation problem, but the Notes Client doesn’t start after installing:

Uninstall Notes 8.5FP1, install the kit an reinstall FP1 again.
