We are in the process of upgrading all our users to version 8.0.1 Standard Notes Client. All users that have been upgraded to this version <50 so far have all complained about the Scroll bars in the Mail, Calendar and Contacts views.
Majority of the time the scroll bar would just hang the screen and therefore you cannot move up or down and what’s most annoying is that when dragging the scroll bar it doesn’t update the view in real-time meaning that you’ll have to stop dragging and release your left mouse click to update. If you were to just use the up and down arrows in the scroll bar the view is updated in real-time as the scroll bar is moving. However, same is not true when you’ve an email open and dragging the scroll bar - this works perfectly.
Has anyone seen this issue and if so does anyone have a fix for this?

I have had my first report of this issue as well. Simply closing the Inox view and going back in seems to clear it, but none the less still a bug. Anybody come across a fix?

I’ve found no fix for this. Now we are noticing that same problem applies to toolbars where they will randomly change and overwrite users settings. This is just so annoying for everyone specially end users.
Subject: Vertical Scroll Bar Issue with an embedded view Ver 8
When viewing the categorized embedded view with IE, we’re having strange vertical scroll bar behavior.
If you click the top or bottom arrow on the bar the documents for that category display correctly.
But if you “suddenly” use the “dragable thumb”… and go to the bottom of the category, the embedded view freaks out and gives me categories that I don’t want to see …
(those are categories I don’t want to see just happen to be at the bottom of the view if you didn’t ask for just one category)
Has anybody see that?

That’s exactly the problem I’ve encountered.
I’ve had random luck when deleting the cache, stripping the ini file and replacing the inbox design. Mind you this is a pretty inconsistent fix and the problem has resurfaced.
