I have perused the forum comments on this topic and am still unclear on whether I am wasting my time.
I need to get a Notes 7 client working on our Windows 2000 Terminal Server and our Windows 2003 Terminal Server.
When I try and install the 7.0.1 client on the W2000 machine it dies with “Internal Error 2755. 3”.
On W2003, it installs just fine on to the C drive but won’t start up - splash screen only, then disappears. It puts Notes.ini in c:\windows but in the shortcut it refers to c:\program files\lotus\notes\notes.ini (which doesn’t look right!). And the ini file has nothing useful in it!.
I haven’t even tried to get it working with different users yet.
Is it possible to get a Notes 7 client working on either of these TS machines? My users are not happy !

Check out this redbook:

It’s for 6.5 but we used it for 7.0.2 and it worked fine. If you have problems search the forum, there’re loads of posts about it

I followed that redbook process. Like I said it didn’t load at all on TS2000, and loaded wrongly on TS2003. The option for “Single User Install” didn’t appear either.
There is more to it than meets the eye…

Have you seen these instructions on the forum:
http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/nd6forum.nsf/c21908baf7e06eb085256a39006eae9f/934a243a3a3a3bb685256c92008362a5?OpenDocument
They’re for citrix but it’s exactly the same.
Make sure you’re using the correct install file - just the notes client package, not the full admin and designer client package I believe.
