Notes 14.5.1 and NomadWeb compatibility

Do you know if Nomad 14.5.1 is compatible with Nomad Web?

I don’t understand the question: The “Nomad” that is installed with / on the Domino server IS Nomad Web. In addition there is the Nomad iOS Client and the Nomad Android client, they are “independent” of the Nomad server and work whenever you have Port 1352 available to your device or any means of a reverse proxy in place.

Hi Tode, I have upgraded my Domino Server to R14.5.1 and the server crashes when the task Nomad 1.0.19 starts. I wonder if it is up to my server or if it is a known problem of compatibility.

Nomad server 1.0.19 is supposed for Domino 12.0.2/14.0/14.5 Linux…

Ah, ok, now I understand: You want to update the nomad that is included in 14.5.1 (1.0.18.131-113) with 1.0.19. And then it crashes… sorry, didn’t check the versions before posting…

But the date of nomad 1.0.19 download file is older than 14.5.1, it might probably not be compatible (yet)

is there a new Nomad server coming?

I upgraded a test server, should I wait before upgrading a production Domino server running the Nomad task?

On my server Domino 14.5.1 with Nomad 1.0.19 has no issues. I run it on Linux, built with Daniels Docker buld scripts. Did you check the nomad files are owned by root:root?

Hi, yes they are. By the way I have reinstalled the server and it works. There should have been something “bad” in the data directory.

Nomad Web 1.0.19 is compatible with Domino 14.5.1.

There was a known issue with OIDC when backchannel is enabled.
