Not Calendarentry in Notes R6 Calendar with an Cleint Notes R5

Hy everybody,

i have one Dominoserver R6.5 and 1000 Mailfiles in R6.5.

But all Client now are in Version Notes R5.

The Problem is, if a Notes R5 User want created

an Calendarentry cam the Message “You have an older Client, please make an Update to R6”.

What can i make, that this Problem are Fixed?

I can’t update so fast 1000 Client.

If I read this right, you upgraded your server to R6, upgraded your mail files to R6, but left your clients on R5.

So the clients are trying to access R6 features they are not capable of utilizing/understanding.

Unfortunately, I only see one solution for you - back down the design of the mail files to R5. Then, as you upgrade the clients, upgrade the design of the mail files FOR THOSE PEOPLE ONLY. Don’t upgrade the mail file until the user’s client has been upgraded.
