Im hoping someone can help,
I have a form that when certain users try to Save the message
“You are not authorised to perform that operation”
appears."
The user has full Manager rights to the database and is also in the Authornames field that I have on the form thats being created. I have also added the Authors to the Readernames field again on the form and I am still getting the same error?
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Some random thoughts:- turn on the script debugger and see if it will tell you a line of code where the error is occurring.
make sure any code in the QuerySave, PostSave and QueryClose is not attempting to access another database that the user doesn’t have access to.
is there code in the form that is trying to run an agent for which the access level is set too low?
check Input Validation and Input Translation formulas to see if any are trying to access another database.
Hope that triggers something.

Don, Thanks for responding.
Its happening on @Command ([FileSave])
I can replicate the error just by doing a Ctrl S
Very strange Ill take off the securities and see what happens and take it from there

Sounds like a validation formula is failing. I would check them for anything trying to access another database or using a role.
Hope that helps,
Don
