Not able to set a default view permanently for mail database

Hi,

I’m not able to set the default view (All Documents) for some of the user mail databases.

What i have tried (works on some user’s pc only)

  1. Select the ‘All Documents’ view

  2. Check ‘Restore as last viewed by user’

  3. Close mail database

  4. Open mail database

  5. Make sure the default view is ‘All Documents’

  6. Uncheck ‘Restore as last viewed by user’

The settings are inconsistent. How to fix the problem ?

The Design task may be undoing your work – either make the change in the template or remove the template from the database properties Design tab.
