Non RFC Compliant Date Stamp and Eudora

Hi,I’m having an issue sending mails from Lotus Notes to people using Eudora. Eudora can’t understand the format that Domino is using to send the mail and the date is coming up blank to the user. My Regional Settings are all set to Ireland/GMT.

Here’s how the mail looks from Notes:

Date: 09-Feb-2005 16:57:38 GMT

From Outlook Express it looks like this:

Date: Wed, 9 Feb 2005 16:57:25 -0000

Is there an option in Domino to change the format of the date?

Here’s the fix for this in case it ever happens to anyone else:

File → Preferences → Location Preferences → Mail

Make sure “Format for messages addressed to Internet addresses” says MIME Format.
