Hi all,
we have here a signature database which creates a HTML-file for each user in his data-directory. The HTML file contains a img-src tag which links to a picture database (image resource) on our webserver. Now we wanted to replace the picture with a new one. So we replaced the image resource with a new picture and named it with the same name as the old one had.
Now some uses complain, that they still see the old picture in their signature but with other users the update worked fine.
I tested the issue with one user and nothing helped: we deleted the cache.ndk, the bookmark, the entries of the perweb.nsf. We deleted all cookies, all temporary internet-files, all files in the temp-directory and at least even the signature document in the signature database, the link under tools and even the HTML-file in the data-directory. We created a completely new signature and it still shows the old picture.
What it makes even more strange is, that if we open the HTML-file in the browser, the new picture is shown.
This is the reason I think that it must have something to do with the settings of the lotus notes client.
Do you have any suggestions???
If you need further information please do not hesitate to ask for it.
Any help is appreciated!!!
Thank you very much!
