-No Signature- ECL popup on Launch First Attachment

I have set up a policy document to trust the admin ID. It works… except on one form I have enabled the auto launch options to launch the first attachment in the form. When Notes tries to launch that attachment, it pops up an ECL warning saying that Auto Launch Attachment is attempting to run but that it is signed with -No Signature-". The entire database was signed with the admin siganture specified in the policy document, but this particular action always says that it is signed with -No Signature-. Any ideas on how to fix this? I don’t know why it is poping up the warning when the entire database is signed with a trusted ID. I checked to make sure that form is signed with the trusted ID, and it is. Thanks.

I don’t know why it is doing this, but it could have something to do with the “Updated By” field on the document not getting correctly modified when you signed the database.Try switching to that trusted ID, then opening, saving and closing that design element.

I had a similar problem, and this resolved it for me.

I tried that, and it didn’t resolve it. Thanks though.

Use the Notes Designer to open the form used to contain the attachments. Bring up the form properties and on the first tab check the box “Sign Documents That Use This Form”.

BTW, this took way too long to find so I’m posting this here in the hope that nobody else has to waste the time that I did.

Subject: Thanks for the link.

Worked like a charm with our 8.0.x and 8.5.x clients.
