No route found to server "A" from server "B". Check Server and Connection documents in the Domino Directory

I have an agent that emails users when they submit a help ticket in our help desk database. All emails sent via the agent (and most likely any emails sent through this server) fail with the message:

No route found to server domino1/CBS from server DOMINO2/INTERNAL/CBS. Check Server and Connection documents in the Domino Directory.

Domino1 is our mail server and domino2 is an app server. I’ve got connection documents for both in the name.nsf (which is replicated from domino1 to domino2). I’ve looked through them several times, and they appear to be setup correctly. Emails sent from domino1 to domino2 reach their destination fine. Any ideas?

Subject: Well, I’ve posted a PMR . . .

Once I have a resolution, I’ll post it here in case anyone else is having similiar troubles.

Subject: Finally got a fix

The two servers did not have the same notes network name in their respective server documents. Why server A could send to server B and not vice-versa, I don’t know.
