No Admin - > Configuration view in Widget catalog

I am following the instructions for “Configuring the credential store application for the OpenSocial component” in Admin Help.

Step 9 says to open the Administration → Configuration view. I do not have the view. The catalog is opened in Administrator using the “classic” view.

All previous steps were done successfully including creation/configuration of credstore.nsf

Is there something I am missing. I know that earlier releases required setting $ENABLE_EE=1 for the admin client notes.ini, but it does not appear to be required anymore in GA.

Subject: Admins Role?

Does your user ID have the Admins Role enabled in the ACL of the Widget Catalog?

This should display the Administration/Configuration view.

Thanks Doug and Steve for the pointers. I did have the [admins] role enabled and am following the cookbook instructions referenced.

The “problem” just fixed itself, after leaving the server on overnight, the “missing” Configuration view became available and i was able to complete the process as documented.
