I have just started at a new company. They run Notes 8.5.1, and have their mail hosted externally, and access via pop3.
They have this notes server with an application that sends mail to clients. The ISP does not accespt any mails larger than 10Mb - so the email is a dead mail. I would like to send an alert to the user so they know it died? I tried to do this, but that return message mail also dies, as it tries to send the failure with the attachment… Can I strip out the attachment, and then send the notification?
Unfortunately the notification still has to route through the ISP to get to the users.
