New Notes and Domino 8.5 Java and LotusScript courses

The Learning Continuum Company (TLCC) announces the availability of two new Java programming courses for Notes and Domino 8.5. Java can be used to create agents and web services in Domino and is also used in XPages. These two courses are designed specifically for the Domino developer with no Java experience. The first course, Beginner Java Programming for Notes and Domino 8.5 introduces the Java language and how to create Java agents in Domino Designer using the new Java editor. The course then introduces the Domino Object Model and how to access databases, views and documents. Intermediate Java Programming for Notes and Domino 8.5 covers advanced Java techniques for accessing web pages, debugging, and working with strings and arrays. It also has many practical uses for Java in Domino to work with rich text, document collections and to create reports.

Students can get both Java courses together with TLCC’s Java Programming for Notes Domino 8.5 Package. If the two courses were purchased separately they would cost $1,500. This package is on sale until December 31st for only $1,199, students can save $300.

Using LotusScript in Domino Web Applications is for experienced LotusScript programmers who want to learn techniques to use LotusScript in Domino web applications. This course has many practical uses of WebQuerySave and WebQueryOpen agents to create dynamic websites that use shopping carts, run agents from a browser and pass data from one webpage to another.
