New Connections 7 environment no longer functioning

I'm building a new small deployment Connections 7.0 with latest CFix environment. All was working well up to 3 days ago. Last thing I did, as far as I can remember, was try to fix the IC360 settings, as that was the last thing that wasn't working. I doubt however, that that change actually caused the problem.

So what's the problem: after logging in, all users get a white error screen. SystemOut.log refers to the profile application. When loading the profiles application itself, I get this error:

[7/19/21 16:14:32:890 CEST] 00000274 LotusConnecti E An unexpected exception was caught by HCL Connections. The error page generated for this exception will display the identifier below.
javax.servlet.ServletException: CLFRW1017E: Attribute user.info.internal.id is not set in the session for user with login ID mdejong.
at com.ibm.connections.search.filters.UserInfoFilter.doFilter(UserInfoFilter.java:151)

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong here? I'm out of ideas how to troubleshoot this one.

Hello Martijn,
Hope you are doing great!

May i know your LDAP base entry please?

Also, any changes happened on WAS side?

Thank you!

Hello Martin,

sounds for me like the Databases are messed up...

Are you getting any error when accessing Wikis Application? Check if Ext_ID in PeopleDB, Employee Table, is in sync with other Databases.

I had similar errors when migrating to from one to another user repository.

I would clear the scheduled Tasks and let Connections run for some time (10 Min or so). If that does not help, than I would try syncing one users ExtID by E-Mail and deleting the search index (local and exported, no Idea why this helped in my case)...

Just some thoughts, I hope it helps.

Best regards,

Milan

PS: Check if there are any changes to the SDI/User Repository settings...

To my huge surprise, the databases were more than messed up. They were empty! As I was logging in without problem a couple of days back, I'm sure they weren't then. Not sure what exactly has happened. I guess I'll find out sometime, but for now I'm puzzled.

It's not a problem though, as I was just building up the environment, so no data lost. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

No problem Martijn, I am glad it helped. :-)
