This is both a minor feature request, and a complaint about a long-standing Designer usability issue…
Currently (and in every Notes/Designer version I’ve ever used), new computed text always defaults to 10-point default sans serif, and ignores the font settings at the insertion point, thus forcing the developer to set the font size/style/etc.
By contrast, adding a new field automatically sets the field’s font settings to those at the insertion point - a small but useful time saver.
Could we please have the computed-text behaviour changed so it matches what happens when inserting a new field? I.e. make the computed text font settings default to those at the insertion point.
