New admin.id file required?

Hi everyone,

I have just inherited a Domino environment, and am having a little trouble. I have an admin.id file that doesn’t seem to be accepted by the server. I have the cert.id and the server.id files, and know the password to them. I have been reading around and know that it’s possible to create a new admin.id file, I was just wondering how I would go about it?

At the moment, I can’t go into File, Open Server; nor can I go File, Tools, Server Administration. The options are greyed out. This obviously leaves me a little stuffed when it comes to admin’ing this server.

Subject: new admin.id file required?

Using the certificates IDs, just create a new ID (e.g. administrator.id) and have the full hierachical user name inserted into the Administrators Groups into the Domino Directory…

Sorry to sound like an idiot, but can you be a little more specific? How do I create a new ID file when I don’t see the option in Administrator?
