Need PASSTHRU HTML. If I install DESIGNER, won't it back-level my Notes client code?

I hope someone out there can help me…

I am running Notes Client 7.0 on Windows XP. I do not have the PASSTHRU HTML feature under the TEXT pulldown list.

But I need PASSTHRU HTML so I can properly edit documents in a database that feed to the Internet.

A previous post suggests I need to install Designer (is that Notes Designer or Domino Designer?) in order to get PASSTHRU HTML.

The only “Designer” options available for download on the IBM ISSI website are packaged with the Notes Client 6.0.2CF1. It’s called “Lotus Notes 6.0.2CF1 - Client with Designer & Admin”

But if I install that, won’t it back-level my current Notes client 7.0?

If not, what do I need to install in order to get PASSTHRU HTML as an option in my TEXT pulldown list?

Much, much thanks!

Hi Mary

I don’t know what bundle is on ISSI… ( 7.HF277 or something like that, no ? )

Although I’m on holydays, I can manage to find the right address and send it to your ibm address

(another w3 url, where you can find every releases of Notes, and even almost everything for IBMers)

In addition, yes it would probably back-level your notes, and Notes Designer & Domino Designer are the same thing.

(Notes and Domino merged a few years ago, AFAIK, and now Notes is only the client’s name)

HTH,

keep me informed => ianm@free.fr (no ATT here… :frowning: )

ISSI does offer a Domino Designer 7.0 - some may call this Notes Designer, but there is only one app dev tool.

Sent you a Notes mail with details on how to locate the download.

Hi

I will post the full&best&correct address for ibm downloads (haven’t it here).

But… (!)

consider that ISSI ain’t the best thing. Its purpose is to maintain lap- and desk- tops up to date,

not to furnish the best software at a given time…

In most of cases (except OS security updates), I would recommend to disable easy update… (yes !)

Merry Christmas to you both !
