I got a corrector which is compatible with different software, including Notes V5 and V6, but not with Smartsuite. With this software, some “macros” are provided, whch used @DDE commands.
I wonder if it is possible to find somewhere the pupose of these commands and if t is possible to “translate” them into scripts for Smarsuite.
According to the corrector help for Notes, the different steps are as follows :
to copy the icons provided ;
to create a new toolbar ;
to create buttons for each part of the corrector and enter in the “formula” the code provided, for instance :
@If(@IsError(Conv_ID); @Do(@Prompt([OK]; “Erreur”; “Lotus Notes ne peut communiquer avec Antidote. Veuillez démarrer Antidote à partir du menu «Démarrer | Programmes | Antidote».”);
I can’t help, but I am using the same 3rd party software… I hope you have gotten somewhere with this, because I am seeing some strange behaviour when I create the buttons according to their scripts.
After selecting the desired word in Notes, I click on the dictionary button created according to their procedure, the Notes FIND/REPLACE dialog opens, the software opens BUT it displays the last word searched - i.e. the selected word is not passed from Notes to the software.
‘Funny’ thing is that I had been using prior versions without problems, and when I recently upgraded to the latest version, RX, the problem showed and I can not find the cause. I have removed and re-installed Notes v6.0.2 and RX multiple times, but no change. I sent an email to their user support, but no response (big surprise, I have had less than stellar support in the past).
I’m going to keep trying, but would appreciate any help.
Thanks.

p.s. I consider myself a Notes super-user, but not a developer.
