I have a list of names in an excel spreadsheet and I need to get the first entry in the User name field and write it to the spreadsheet.

Hmmm, I know what you mean. I’ve got code to write as well. If I were you though, I’d keep my “To-do” list in Notes or something – it could easily get lost in this “Lotus Developer Domain” thing.
