In the new Notes client the lookup of recipients has changed. If I type in a name and press on a delimiter, the lookup is done in my local address book only…I reported this to IBM :
This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# RJAS7AGRLR and determined to be working as designed. To get a list of names from the Domino directory, choose “Search directory for” in the type-ahead window.
As a workaround, in the User Preferences > Basic Notes Client Configuration, check to disable the feature “Disable type-ahead for all name fields and use the Notes Basic Type Ahead”. You can also use the Notes 8 Basic Configuration client.
This is really inconvenient !!
