My Print statements not appearing in log.nsf

I’m trying to debug a scheduled agent. There are Print statements in the LotusScript code, but I can’t find any staements written into the Miscellaneous Events docs. According to the Agent’s log, it does run, but it’s not working as expected and I can’t get help from Print statements.

Any ideas or suggestions? Are there settings somewhere that might be preventing my agent from writing to the server’s log?

Agent is shared, runs on server.

Look at the Log_AgentManager and Debug_AMgr notes.ini options in the designer help file. These options control how much info is recorded in the log.

Subject: Thanks, but I only need to Print a custom message while executing one agent.

Thanks for the suggestion, but if I understand that process, it would start writing a lot of generic information about all agents that run on the server.

I think what I want to do is very simple, and I’m sure I’ve done it in the past. Something simple like:

Print “Preparing to access view”

set view = db.getview(“viewname”)

If view is nothing then

Print "Did not get view"

else

Print "Got view"

endif

I thought that I could look on the server’s log.nsf, Miscellaneous Events view after the agent ran and see those messages written, but no luck thus far. I don’t know if the messages aren’t being written, or if they are and I’m not looking in the correct place for them.
