Im new to IBM Notes and have a issue i can’t get my head around how to get this solved so i hope someone can get me some insight how IBM Notes handles this.
My setup is currently 2 IBM Notes servers, lets name them Notes-old + Notes-new. Both running mail, and replicating mailboxes.
We had some issues when Notes-new failed, used could keep working in Notes-old. This was great for user experiences.
Now i seem to have issues when users change server to connect mail to. They put there mail in folders, to clean up the inbox. When they change server, all mail in is back in the inbox.
It seems all mail get replicated, but not the view, on how mail are put in folders.
Now in some time i want to dismiss the Notes-old, but have to make sure users have the correct view on there Notes-new server.
Am i missing something why they are not exactly the same over multiple servers? Or whats the correct way to arrange this? If i need to explain things better please let me know.
