Multiple icons in view column - is it possible?

I am trying to find a way to indicate whether an individual in a multi-value field (Technician) has completed their task on a document in a view.

I have a view that lists out all the projects and is categorized by Technician “Show multiple values as seperate entries” with another column the lists all the Technicians assigned to the document.

I would like to also have a column next to this list that shows either a checkmark or a “X” depending on whether the specific technician has completed their part of the project (a field on the document contains this information)

Is it possible to have multiple icons in a view column?

You can show multiple icons in one column, just use a list-value that has the correct icon-numbers in it.

BUT (why has there always have to be a but … ?!)

These icons are always (AFAIK) placed besides each other, no matter how the ‘multiple value seperator’ property is set.

So you cannot have a row containing multiple lines with an icon on each line …

I decided that instead of icons, I would use text values which can be set up to use NewLine.

what about setting the collumn for the icon col to force it to use multiple lines

As was already posted, icons in the view do not work with multiple lines and will appear next to each other.

Would be nice if they worked like that, but until it is allowed, text will have to be the solution.
