Multilingual client & wrong help database

Hello Forum,

i’ve installed a network based notes client with german and czech mui templates and help databases!

If i know change the language by “UserInterface=cs”, and login to notes all is correctly displayed in czech. But if i’ll press the F1 key, notes opens the german help database from the server(the server does only have the german language pack installed).

Is there any possibility of open the correct localized help database by pressing the F1 key in notes? (is czech language pack also needed on the server?)

If not, Lotus please add this to your next release. This is something that needs to be introduced to massive user complaint and can’t be really hard to realize!!

I’ve had a similar issue when using a German designer help in an English Designer client.

The English and German helpfile-documens do have different doc-ID’s partially. So the F1-key did not work fully. Error message: “The doclink database cannot be located”.

I do not know a solution: I found out that the doc-id’s are obviously hard coded in the designer client. For investigation I used filemon from www.sysinternals.com among other things.
