We are very new to Lotus Notes and we’ve just migrated from Exchange, so there are a few things which we took for granted before that with Lotus Notes we have no idea how to do.
Most of our work is project based and to keep all of the information together, for anyone to access, we have all documents and emails, inc. attachments, relating to the project within one folder in a Windows environment.
Is it possible to move or export the hole email and attachments from Lotus Notes? If it is, is there anyone out there who can help me with this dilema?
It sounds like you need a managemnt tool in notes to do this. There are some out of the box tools available that come with domino or you can build one.
Coming from the exchange world, your users need to think a little differently. Instead of storing all this stuff in a directory on your network - store it in notes where you can secure it, full text search it, automate processes with workflow…

You can copy and paste mail documents between mail databases as well and could probably customize the teamroom template.
