we are planning to put our users mailfiles into different subdirectories to seperate them by language (14)
mail\de
\en
\es
\sv
\....
the mail files (~5200) reside on a two member cluster. One idea is to use the adminp “move user to another server” to obtain that. So that every user’s homeserver will be switched to the opposite cluster member.
has anybody out there done that before in a scenario like that?
how about trouble with muliplte mailfile replicas on a member and what happens during deleting old replicas??
or does somebody have an any other idea to do that?
the problem is not renaming the files during serverdowntime… the problem is more touching 5200 location docs changing the mailfilename.
