We’re having an issue when moving a user’s mail and roaming files from one server to another. The move works fine, but the client’s address book gets several Notes Direct Dial Up connection docs for the new server (all protocols, specific user, $UpdatedBy field exists but is empty). Even if we delete these, they reappear. We are pre-creating a TCPIP connection for the new server prior to issuing the user move.
This has been a problem for years now, so is not just a 8.5.1 issue. But we are doing a migration/server consolidation from several 7.0.2 servers to 8.5.1. Therefore, we are going to be issuing a lot of user moves very soon and would like to resolve this.
I did find this post, but it was never answered.
Any ideas?
