We are running Lotus Notes client 6.5.5 CCH1. A user mistakenly moves folder 1 into folder 2, thus making folder 1 a sub folder of folder 2. Notes is not allowing the sub folder changed back to a main folder.Is there a way to turn a subfolder back into a main folder other then re creating the sub folder?

you can rename the folder in designer by removing the main folder name under which it was moved or …
you can drag it back out from under the folder it was dragged in to by highlighting the folder and dragging it up slowly until it’s just above the main folder name and when you see a solid black line release it and it should move out as a main folder.

You can also try highlighting the folder in question, then pull down the Action menu and select Folder Options ===> Move.
