Move domino to another machine on linux

I have a old domino server on linux, say serverA and I installed the new domino server on another machine say serverB also on linux.

I want to shut down the serverA and move all the files (program files and data files) from serverB machine to serverA machine and run the domino server.

Will the domino server run on serverA machine , if not what problem can I expect ?

Subject: Just the data files

I’m assuming that you want to keep the same version of Domino, the same organization (/O=XXX) and the same domain (names.nsf) so just copy the data files (*.nsf), the server id and notes.ini from the old server to the new. Start the new server and see what you’ve missed.

I’ve done this dozens of times on Windows platforms and it usually goes without too much incidence.
