Does anyone know how to change the colors in the Sametime chat window In HCL Notes V11?
I tried going into the HCL Notes preferences and changing the theme colors, but they didn't seem to affect the Sametime chat. The only change affecting the chat window was selecting a different theme altogether.

what exactly are you looking to change?
Go to File >> Preferences >> Choose either Notes 9 theme or Notes 11 theme
then click on customize theme
then you can expand what you want to customize.
on the notes themes are customizable.

This is exactly what I tried to do, then restarted Notes. The Notes client changed, but the chat did not.
As for what they want to be changed, the background on the left and where the messages show up.
I reinstalled the Notes client last night. I was working on the assumption that since this was an upgrade, there were some old configuration settings. I used NICE to get a fresh install.
No luck in changing the chat.
