Is there a way, or workaround, to turn on modern authentication for the Notes Client?
I have set a new location to connect to a 365 mail server, but basic authentication is no longer available even after spending most of the day changing the settings to allow it!

Currently, Notes Client V10 is being supported only for issues, not new features. It will also end this support in the next few months.
A more recent client should be used for modern authentication.
If entitlement is valid, you could use Notes 12 or even Notes 14 with a Domino V10 server while performing an upgraded to a more recent and supported version.

The requirements for O365 are as follows
POP, IMAP, and SMTP settings for Outlook.com - Microsoft Support
I believe it can be set up in the Notes client.

That post was a couple of years ago. MS have now dropped POP3 and IMAP with o365.
It's very confusing because their own documentation still says it can be done, and it still allows configuration of basic authentication from within o365 and Exchange.
I did stumble upon some legacy servers (pop-legacy.office365.com, imap-legacy.office365.com and smtp-legacy.office365.com) and SMTP does now work, but not IMAP and POP.
If there is way to configure it so that outgoing mail goes to o365 and incoming from somewhere else, it will solve the immediate DMARC problem.

Good day. As per Elvis's update Notes Client V10 will be EOS this June 2024.
