go to your dircat-DB open configuration and modify the field “group types”, choose there “Mail and Multi-purpose”. You can increase the “additional fields to include” like below:

FirstName

MiddleInitial

LastName

Location

MailAddress

Shortname

MailDomain

InternetAddress

MessageStorage

CompanyName

OfficePhoneNumber

OfficeFaxNumber

JobTitle

Department

Company

WebSite

Comment

InternetAddress

“directory to include” filed should be your names.nsf on your server.

After that start the dircat task : load dircat “yourDircat-DB” -r

Good luck

Ramin Group types is set to all. Does this not include ‘Mail and Multi-purpose’

Hi Goerge

Yes it dose. If you need all you can choose this type.

Ramin we have all the parameters set up correctly. The entries in the groups still have not been transferred .

Have you any other ideas ?

Subject: RE: Missing groups in Dircat

from admin help:

“Groups are included in a directory catalog by default, so users can send mail to groups. However, to minimize the size of the directory catalog, the members of the groups are not included by default, so users’ mail servers or directory servers must be able to look up the members of the groups.”

hope thats of use.

I would replace the design of dircat-DB. And try it again. Check the defined fields in the config documents of dircat-DB. They must be correct!!! Wath happens after start (load dircat “yourDircat-DB” -r)on server?
