Hello,a user called me because since few days on its Notes Client (6.5.4, italian version), the alarm daemon does not work, for example in a reminder, also if the flag is selected.
I verified the “$Alarms” folder, the notes.ini, made a refresh\replace design… nothing to do.
Any suggestion appreciated!

Hi,
Try this it had worked for me
Close notes client change the $alarm value to 1 from notes.ini.
try ebabling the meeting alram and confirm.
If not then reinstall the client freshly uninstall and reinstall.
This will definetly solve the problem.

In notes.ini the “$EnableAlarms” value was “1”, I have changed it to “0” and changed again to “1”, but without resolve the problem…
