Misaligned times in calendar

Hi all,

I work on a Deskside Support team. The employees that we service use Notes 6.5.3 on Windows XP.

One user has a strange problem with the Calendar. Some meetings display properly in the Calendar. Some display a half hour early, some display a half hour late. (Meetings and invitees would typically be in the same time zone.)

An example would be a noon meeting for which the rectangle for the event aligns with 11:30 a.m. on the Calendar rather than noon. Or a noon meeting might align with 12:30 p.m. on the Calendar instead of noon as it should.

This issue has been sent to system administrators and was not resolved. Does anyone on this forum have any idea what might be causing this behavior?

(I mentioned that I worked Deskside Support. What that means is I have limited admin rights and don’t or can’t use Notes Designer to resolve problems. I’ll have to send any advice about this matter given on this forum to other people to help them resolve the issue.)

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Sincerely,

David Gillaspey

Question - if the user opens a meeting (one that is not showing in the right time slot on Calendar) does is have the right times? If so, then maybe the calendar view is corrupt - Try Ctrl + Shift + F9 to rebuild.

Hi Watka,

Thanks for the response.

I believe the correct time does display when he opens a meeting, even when that meeting block is incorrectly displayed (too early or too late) in the Calendar.

I have tried Ctrl + Shift + F9 with no luck.

Sincerely,
