Hi!I would like to create an agent to send messages in mime format (for serial mailing).
I can do it using a HTML source and convert it to MIME:
'variables
Dim body As NotesMIMEEntity
Dim header As NotesMIMEHeader
Dim dbMail As NotesDatabase
Dim HTMLSrc As String 'mail body in HTML
Dim stream As NotesStream
'... variables setting - ignored for shortening the code
HTMLSrc$ = getHTMLSource () 'returns HTML body of the mail
defined somewhere, in the configuration document for example
Set body = docMemo.CreateMIMEEntity
Set header = body.CreateHeader("Content-Type")
Call header.SetHeaderVal("multipart/related")
body.Preamble = "Preamble to multipart MIME message."
'declare memo fields.... subject, Sendto etc.
'[...]
Set stream = s.CreateStream
'Create first child entity
Set child = body.CreateChildEntity
Call stream.WriteText(HTMLSrc$)
Call child.SetContentFromText (stream, "text/html;charset=ISO-8859-2",
ENC_NONE)
'closing, saving, sending etc.
It is easy to do it using HTML code as a source. But in that case
you cannot insert pictures direclty into the memo - only as a link to a picture
().
In Internet Explorer you can save HTML as a one-file page - .MHT. It looks as a
simple MIME file tha can be read by IE.
Is there a way to use such MIME (=IE .MHT) as a source of the mail body?
Anyone has an idea how to do it?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
