Can any body give me few guidelines to migrate from Domino 4.0 / 5.0 to 6.0 , the DOs and DONOTs and any special tools by Lotus or any third party on this matter

Hithere is so many bugs to migrate to 6.0

wait for serveur 6.5.1 and client 6.5.2

there is huge printing problem

hiif u wanto update your r4/r5 to r6 ,

u must backup your notes.ini and data folder of your old domino server .

then u can setup the new ver of r6 into your old domino server folder .

if setup is ok ,then copy your backup file and folder overwriter the new files and folder .

then update is ok .
