There are business partners who can assist with migration from Notes to Sharepoint, such as Proposion, which also sells tools that may make part of the process easier. That said, I should warn you that customers of ours who have tried the process (without Proposion’s help, so this is not a reflection on them) say it is not a whole lot less effort than writing the applications from scratch. Some relatively simple applications are easy to port from Sharepoint to Notes or Notes to Sharepoint, but anything at all complex can be a nightmare, and should only be done if there is a string business case for doing so. Even if you are going to write new applications with Sharepoint, you should consider leaving the Domino apps alone.

Thanks for the plug, Ben, but actually Proposion does not do migration services. We are a 100% product company and do not offer services at all. We have partners (ranging from one-man shops to the largest global system integrators) who use our products to help their customers integrate and migrate, as well as customers who buy our tools directly. For Notes and SharePoint specifically, we have one migration tool and five integration tools (including the two in beta). See Products A-Z.

Isn’t SharePoint just like a simple Notes database where you can upload files?
