Migration from R5 to R6.5.4

Hi,We are facing a problem while trying to migrate from R5 to R6.

  1. In R5 we have a form which when submitted by the user calls one agent.

  2. In that agent some validations are carried out which are not possible to do using JavaScript. Those validations require access to the database.

  3. If validation fails then the user gets a web page which displays the error message with a BACK button. BACK button uses JavaScript “history.go(-1)”.

  4. This back button allows the user to go to the filled form again and edit the wrong field.

  5. But in R6 this back button is not working. When we click on the back button it directs to “Page can not be displayed” page.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I got the solution to the above problem long back. I’ve got two mails for the solution of the problem. So I am posting the solution here.

The solution is:

  1. Create a “TEXT” field “computed for display” in the main form. Give any name.

  2. Set the value to the following formula code.

@SetHTTPHeader(“Expires”;“0”)
